The best of Ennio Morricone, all his scores.

On the occasion of his 80th birthday, I would like to propose a small anthology composed of many of the best pieces of Ennio Morricone, all of them transcribed for piano. But, who is Ennio Morricone? If you have Italian origins, shame on you! He is one of the most important Italian soundtrack composer of all time. He has composed more than 400 movie soundtracks, including 30 for westerns film. How could you forget Sergio Leone’s The Good, The Bad & The Ugly soundtrack? On the 25th February, 2007, after 5 non-rewarded nominations, apart from a standing ovation from an audience of admirers, he gained a career Academy Award, “for his magnificent and multi-shaped contribution to movie art music”. So, now you can not lose these scores at all! Click here to download them for free.

    Hi Bill

I also play the piano & I love, collect & play a few hundred of Morricone’s film & TV themes on the piano.
I have transcribed my own piano solo arrangements of dozens of his themes.
I had the honor of meeting Maestro Morricone a few times at his home in Rome.
Perhaps we can exchange some of his music?

    sincerely, Jeff S.
