Those were the Erasmus days, about three years ago, when a friend of mine suggested me to listen to a song. She told me: “I dedicate it to you!”. She didn’t notice it was a love song and one of the most schmaltzy too: “Solo per te” by Negramaro. Come out in the album “Mentre tutto scorre” , the song helped to sanction (deservedly or not) Negramaro’s success throughout Italy. “Solo per te” begins with poignant piano notes then leaving space to the melancholy voice of Cavacecio Stellino (best known as Giuliano Sangiorgi). After reading his name, I know you’ve laughed for sure, but the song is really gloomy instead.
If you are Cavacecio’s fans or you are going to dedicate this song to you girlfriend or fiancé, just do it: master Nicola Morali has made an astonishing arrangement, to say the least, which you can download here.
