Let’s take a step back to the exercise no. 16 from Beyer (we skipped it if you remember) which maybe is the one deserving more care among the first twenties. Left and right hand are supposed to go together according to logic but, compared to previous exercises, they gain a little bit more independence. In fact, it’s very difficult to find the two hand playing the same note. There’s need of circumspection and, why not, at first to execute the piece by separate hands.
