“Anonimo Veneziano” is a movie by Enrico Maria Salerno came out in 1970. The main character is a musician to be dying due to a terminal disease and he is on the point of directing the concert of his life, a concert set at “La Fenice” theatre, in Venice. He calls his wife and, together with her, he set out this adventure, rich of tense and feeling. On the background, there is the classical music by Benedetto and Alessandro Marcello and the original music by Stelvio Cipriani.
Just by Stelvio Cipriani is the main theme, actually called “Anonimo Veneziano”, whose melody and main arrangements we have shared the score. I’d like to share with you these poignant notes.
