Today, Astor Piazzolla gives us an emotion again: another tango, whose rhythm fascinates and excites us; a slow step movement melting with music. I’m talking about “Calambre”, one of the pieces I’ve recently met with and that, together with Libertango, go on inciting in me the interest into Argentine Tango. And now, next to the warm notes of the piano, that’s how one of the sweetest and most musical instruments “takes voice”: the flute. The score I managed to find is actually a duet for piano and flute (or, alternatively, for string quartet). I played it a few times ago with a friend of mine and I can assure you it is worth it.
If you listen to it, certainly you will feel like putting your hands on the keyboard. The execution video is for piano and cello.
